Our customer, a hospital clinical lab, provides care for individuals throughout southeastern Wisconsin and beyond. They offer the latest technology and innovative treatments within a nurturing environment of support and compassion for their patients and their families.

The laboratory is required to meet the Clinical Laboratory Reagent Water Standard (CLRW). The CLRW standard water is used to feed state of the art laboratory analyzer equipment and general use faucets throughout the facility.

Total Water’s Solution

Total Water designed a system to cost-effectively meet and exceed the necessary Clinical Laboratory Reagent Water (CLRW) standards. The system consisted of a reverse osmosis unit polished with high-purity, medical-grade deionizers. Water system quality is continually validated with a temperature-controlled resistivity monitor located in the water treatment area. The design and installation of a centralized water treatment system to feed the entire laboratory saved the customer in excess of $5000 per year.
